Describing a Look

The eyes of the Lord are in every place,
Watching the evil and the good.

Proverbs 15:3

She stared with flat brown eyes

The corners of her eyes creased with concern

Hi expression was pained

Her eyes flared with excitement / anger

The shade of disappointment on his face

Her eyes flutter, a few rapid beats

She shoots me a look of raw resentment

His eyes bug out

She stares, deep wrinkles forming on her brow

A wounded look

Something unspooling in her eyes

A long stare

Soft saggy brown eyes

Her eyes were fixed with worry

His eyes were dull with bewilderment

Interest lit up her eyes

A direct steady blue regard from deep set eyes

Reticent Look / Face- not revealing ones thoughts or feeling readily

His features are set in concentration

His gaze dances over her

She had a dangerous glint in her eyes

To look sharply

The fierce glint in her eyes

Her eyes are as steady as glass

She looks at me with cautious evaluation

A remote coldness came into her eyes

Mesmerizing eyes

It chilled me to the heart

She was tense with emotion

He looked at her with deepened interest

Soft eyed

He opened his eyes wide as if they held some dark warning

Her eyes were shining with excitement

Her eyes flickered with defiance

Resigned sadness in her eyes

A questioning look

Bright, assessing eyes

He looked hollow eyes and shell shocked.

A wild, dangerous glitter in his eyes.

A poisonous stare

They stare in silent horror

She stands, stupefied

A hard look

Look longingly

Keen eyes – nosy

He stares for a long moment

She glances at him playfully

A conspiratorial, seductive look

She watches him closely

He looks at her in growing horror

He stares at her stonily

There was a spark of interest in her eyes.

She gapes at him in horror

He glances at her uneasily

He looks at her desperately

Her eyes sweep the area

He gapes at her in disbelief

His eyes flick to her and away again

She looks at him warily

He looks at her in alarm

Alarm in her eyes

He looks troubled

An expression of resolution

Staring stoically

He flicks a nervous glance at her

An animated gaze

His eyes are cold and distant

Wilting a little in the glare of her confidence

Her eyes flicking from my feet to my eyes in the blink of an eye

He gives her a frank look

A pointed look

His eyes dulled

Dead eyes

Eyes sweep over me

Glancing from under lowered brows

Withering look

A look passed over his face

I glance at her knowingly

I keep my expression impassive

He got a strange gleam in his eyes

His eyes were dark and hooded

HIs eyes glowed as he spoke

Frosty glance

I keep my expression neutral

His eyes bore into mine

His head snapped back to her

Her gaze snagged on

Glassy eyed

His eyes were feverish

His eyes tensed together in a vague imitation of concern

Black eyes

Her eyes stuttered open

Her eyes snapped open

His eyes were dark and wild

There was a steady calm in his eyes

A withering glare

He stares at me with a cool intensity

I could feel the heat of her stare

He saw pity and shock swill in her eyes

A death glare

Gaze drilling into my back

He sizes me with an amused detachment

His eyes glowed with humor

Misty eyes

Giving someone cow eyes – big, flirty eyes or innocent looking eyes.

She looks at him a but wildly

A glazed look

Her expression glacial

Her eyes shining

Her eyes twinkling

Her eyebrows shot up

He turns his heavy gaze to her

Eyes blazing with purpose

He looked at her darkly

Eyed her coldly

Her eyes softened with pride

A steady, hostile gaze

He turned to look at her with those arresting ice blue eyes

Their eyes locked, met

Cat like eyes

Flashing eyes that invited conversation

Her gaze was challenging

Fury blazed in her eyes

He shot her a withering look

Eyes cold as steel

A glassy stare

Her brimming eyes

His eyes were playful

Her eyes fired

Her eyes swung there

He looked at her with soft eyes

She gave me a meaningful look

She looked at me darkly

Her eyes formed a question

A look of strained hope
