Describing a Cry

He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission.

Hebrews 5:7

His eyes misted over

My cry turned to whimpers

A sob rose in my throat

A plaintive cry (mournful)

I cried in a low moan

My eyes were prickling with tears

I cried in exasperation

I cried furiously

I cried bitter tears

Tears pool my eyes

She’s crying great, loud, angry sobs

She chokes back a sob

He collapses in ragged sobs

She felt hot tears swelling behind her ears

Tears stung her eyes

That murky dull feeling where you want to cry

Misty eyes

Eyes stinging with tears
